Tara and Andy’s wedding was a perfect blend of modern sophistication and artistic charm, set in the heart of Hoboken, NJ. With a thoughtfully planned day that balanced elegance and intimacy, they chose venues that reflected their personalities—a sleek, stylish start at W Hoboken and a creative, vibrant celebration at Barsky Gallery. Even more special, every vendor they worked with was local to Hoboken—bringing a deep sense of community and connection to their wedding day.
A Morning at W Hoboken
The day began at W Hoboken, where Tara and Andy got ready in separate suites, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The modern aesthetic of the hotel, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline, set a breathtaking backdrop for their wedding portraits. The anticipation in the air was palpable as final touches were made—Tara stepping into her gown, Andy adjusting his tie—each moment captured in a way that felt timeless and personal.
Tara’s stunning dress was designed by Adrienn Braun Couture, a designer based right in the Monroe Center—the same creative space where Marie Papp Photography is located. Her look was completed with elegant hair and makeup by Foil and Pin Studio, ensuring she felt beautiful, confident, and photo-ready for the big day.
Before heading to the ceremony, the couple took advantage of the elegant hotel surroundings for formal portraits. The contemporary design of the W Hoboken provided a striking contrast to the warmth of their love, making for images that were both stylish and heartfelt.
A Ceremony Surrounded by Art at Barsky Gallery
Leaving the hotel behind, Tara and Andy arrived at Barsky Gallery, where their wedding ceremony was set amidst contemporary artwork and an intimate gathering of loved ones. The gallery’s clean lines and curated exhibits provided a unique and meaningful atmosphere—one that perfectly suited the couple’s vision for their day.
With its creative energy, the gallery became more than just a venue; it was an extension of their story. The ceremony was filled with heartfelt vows, shared laughter, and the kind of love that needs no embellishment. Against the backdrop of bold, expressive artwork, Tara and Andy exchanged rings and sealed their commitment with a kiss, officially beginning their next chapter together.
A Celebration as Unique as Their Love
As the evening continued, the gallery transformed into a warm, inviting space for their wedding celebration. With the clinking of glasses, the hum of conversation, and the joy of their closest friends and family, the atmosphere was both stylish and intimate. The artwork lining the walls added an extra layer of personality to the event, making it feel like a true reflection of Tara and Andy’s love—a celebration of connection, creativity, and shared experiences.
Instead of a traditional reception, their wedding felt like a beautifully curated experience. Guests mingled, toasts were made, and laughter filled the air as the newlyweds embraced the moment. The setting, the people, and the energy of the night created an unforgettable celebration that was as effortless as it was intentional.
Incredible Food from Tastebuds Tacos
Beyond the elegant ambiance, one of the highlights of the evening was the food. In addition to delicious hors d’oeuvres, guests were treated to incredible tacos from Tastebuds Tacos, a local favorite known for their fresh, flavorful creations. Tastebuds Tacos can often be spotted around Hoboken, serving up some of the best tacos in the area. Their presence at Tara and Andy’s wedding added a fun, laid-back touch to the celebration, giving guests the chance to enjoy gourmet street-style food in the middle of an art-filled wedding setting.
Sweet Finishing Touches
No wedding celebration is complete without dessert, and Tara and Andy’s guests indulged in a stunning cake from Jam Cakery Events. Known for their beautifully designed cakes and incredible flavors, Jam Cakery brought a delicious and artistic final touch to the evening.
The space was also adorned with gorgeous floral arrangements from Flowers by Diane, adding warmth and elegance to the gallery setting. The thoughtfully chosen blooms complemented the artwork around the space, creating a natural, romantic atmosphere that enhanced the beauty of the night.
A Wedding to Remember
Tara and Andy’s wedding was a perfect example of how small, thoughtful details can make a celebration feel truly special. From the stylish start at W Hoboken to the intimate, art-filled reception at Barsky Gallery, and the incredible lineup of all local Hoboken vendors, their day was a testament to the beauty of a wedding designed around love, personality, and meaningful spaces.
A heartfelt thank you to Adrienn Braun Couture, Jam Cakery Events, Foil and Pin Studio, Flowers by Diane, and Tastebuds Tacos—all incredible local businesses that helped bring this beautiful wedding to life.
